The cap is bright yellow. The cap surface is smooth.

The stem is white to yellowish, without ring.

The flesh is yellowish, unchanging; its taste is mild; the odour is not distinctive; its texture is fibrous.

The gills are yellow then rusty red, free or adnate, crowded . The spore print is rusty brown. This species is saprophytic.

The fruiting period takes place from May to December.
