The fruiting period takes place from SeptemberSeptember to -January.
Dimensions: width of cap approximately 8 cm (between 0 and 15 cm)
  height of stem approximately 5 cm (between 0 and 10 cm)
  thickness of stem (at largest section) approximately 15 mm (between 0 and 30 mm)


Boletus poikilochromus is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is very rare, more generally speaking .
