The fruiting body is globular, without spines, white to pale brown.

The fertile surface is internal: the spores are released as dust when mature. The spore print is lilac brown.

It grows on the ground, in meadows.

The fruiting period takes place from July to September.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 8 cm (between 0 and 15 cm)
  total height approximately 9 cm (between 5 and 15 cm)

Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet

Calvatia fragilis is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is rare, more generally speaking .
