The fruiting body is shaped like a branched shrub, lilac-violet. The fertile surface is smooth. It grows on the ground, in broad-leaved woods. The fruiting period takes place from October to December.
Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet Clavaria zollingeri is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
