The fruiting body is club-shaped, truncated, the top being flat, lemon-yellow.

The flesh is white, getting brown when exposed to air; its taste is not bitter;

The fertile surface is smooth.

It grows on the ground, in coniferous woods, in high altitudes.

The fruiting period takes place from July to December.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 5 cm (between 2 and 8 cm)
  total height approximately 11 cm (between 5 and 15 cm)
