The fruiting body is flattened cup-shaped, with a cinnamon red internal surface, the external surface being of similar colours. The fertile surface is smooth. It grows on wood, on broad-leaved trees, living or dead, on hornbeam, birch. The fruiting period takes place from December to June.
Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet Exidia repanda is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is infrequent, more generally speaking .
