question 14: Thick or widely spaced gills

Turn the mushroom upside down to have a look at the number of gills. There are two possibilities:

• the gills' count is small (less than 15-20 gills per quarter mushroom), and they can be thick and distant;
• the gills are very numerous, crowded;

Generally speaking, the gills of mushrooms are rather crowded.

Examples:

The gills here are not very crowded, (we count about 17 gills whose length is more than 2/3 of the cap radius), select "yes" in this example		The gills here are on the contrary very crowded, select then "no" in this example		The gills here are distant and thick, select then "yes" in this example		The gills here are crowded, select then "no" in this example
