The cap is spherical, whitish-grey, with a long stem.

The fertile surface is internal: the spores are released as dust when mature.

It grows on the ground, in the dunes, on a rather calcareous soil.

The fruiting period takes place all year long.
Dimensions: width of cap approximately 0.8 cm (between 0.5 and 1 cm)

Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet

Tulostoma fimbriatum is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
