The encephalopathy syndrome
Incubation : between 6 and 8 hours.Signs of intoxication :
- first signs: digestive disorders
- 3 to 4 days later : brain disorders (sleepiness, difficult coordination of limbs, dizziness)
- a variant of this syndrome may develop 1 to 3 weeks after ingestion, when the patient suffers from chronic renal failure, potentially leading to coma or death.
Responsible species :
- the Cinnamon Bracket, sometimes confused with the edible Beefsteak Fungus
- the Angel's Wings.
