The encephalopathy syndrome

Incubation : between 6 and 8 hours.

Signs of intoxication :

• first signs: digestive disorders
• 3 to 4 days later : brain disorders (sleepiness, difficult coordination of limbs, dizziness)
• a variant of this syndrome may develop 1 to 3 weeks after ingestion, when the patient suffers from chronic renal failure, potentially leading to coma or death.

treatment : take to hospital immediately

Responsible species :

• the Cinnamon Bracket, sometimes confused with the edible Beefsteak Fungus
• the Angel's Wings.
