The cap is white, with centre more yellowish, convex. The cap surface is smooth, not viscid nor sticky. The stem is smooth, with a funnel-shaped membranous ring. The flesh is white, unchanging; the odour is radish-like; its texture is fibrous. The gills are adnate, crowded . The spore print is white. This species is saprophytic. It grows on the ground, in damp deciduous woods, urban woods. The fruiting period takes place from September to November.
Distinctive features : silky-white cap, with a yellow-brown centre; odour of radish Leucoagaricus sericifer is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
