The cap is white, with centre more yellowish, convex. The cap surface is smooth, not viscid nor sticky.

The stem is smooth, with a funnel-shaped membranous ring.

The flesh is white, unchanging; the odour is radish-like; its texture is fibrous.

The gills are adnate, crowded . The spore print is white. This species is saprophytic. It grows on the ground, in damp deciduous woods, urban woods.

The fruiting period takes place from September to November.
Dimensions: width of cap approximately 2.5 cm (between 1 and 4 cm)

Distinctive features : silky-white cap, with a yellow-brown centre; odour of radish

Leucoagaricus sericifer is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
