section 7: Presence of a network on stem

In this section, we must indicate whether a network is present on the stem. The network shows as a kind of fishnet pattern surrounding the stem, this net usually more visible closer to the top. This network is not always clearly visible; a magnifying glass might be helpful to spot it. When in doubt choose "I don't know"

Examples:

A white network is here clearly visible near the top of the stem, much less so further down, select then for this case "yes"     A dark network is visible on a large portion of the stem, select then for this case "yes"     The stem is covered with tiny raised scales, but they do not form a fishnet pattern. Select then for this case "no"     The stem is here uniform, no network is present, select then for this case "no"
